Presenting an ever-expanding click-on ABC of delicious answers to the question of "But what do vegetarians eat? "

... the puzzled query of many who grew up on a meat-centered diet. But let's face it, the simple answer --- "We eat anything without meat, fish, poultry, or shellfish" --- doesn't cut it, for many reasons. First off, there are several Types of Vegetarians who do and don't include/eschew various food items from their diet. But much more importantly,  the simple answer above: it rests on "without" rather than "with." May we present a new paradigm?

The PASSIONATE VEGETARIAN approach rests on presence, not absence; abundance, not deprivation: it spills from an overflowing, ever-changing cornucopia of ingredients, foodstuffs, dishes, meals and cultures (virtually all). It is sensual; it is celebratory, and it nourishes body and soul. The click-on alphabet below will expand your culinary vocabulary, answer your questions, and, we hope enrich  your life and table.
