| Crescent Dragonwagon is the author of 40 published books,
including cookbooks (Dairy Hollow House Soup & Bread, a Julia Child Award
and James Beard Award nominee, (over 280,000 copies sold), children's

from Cosmopolitan to Fine Cooking to Lear's, Mode,
and the New York Times Book Review. Passionate Vegetarian

published in October, 2002, about the same time as her new children's

With her late husband,
Ned Shank, Crescent owned the award-winning Dairy Hollow House, a
country inn and restaurant in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, for eighteen
years. She teaches writing coast to coast and is the co-founder (with Ned)
of the non-profit
Writers' Colony at
Dairy Hollow. |

conferences, for such groups as International Association of Culinary
Professionals, Professional Association of Innkeepers International, the
International Reading Association, and the American Library Association. |
